Art and Music have always been my life. As a 6 year old, my Mother collected the unwanted ends of wallpaper rolls, laid them on the floor and watched in “amazement as my little fingers brought Story Tales to life”. From imitating the stained glass cathedrals we saw in Italy by melting my crayons on light bulbs and drawing with them on the window, to the high contrast “Mod Art” & details “Optical Art”, Peter Max styles of the 60’s & 70’s during my teen years.

I’ve done leather & silk batiking, Acrylics, Oils, ceramics, silkscreen & etchings at Laney and Contra Costa college in California Bay Area, sold them on Telegraph Ave. Sculpting with quartz rod as a quartz blower and fuser in the micro-electronic industry. My Illustrations for social service manuals and curriculums during the 80’s & 90’s, to my African & NDN inspired “wire weaving” during the 80’s. And now my love for pastels & digital art during the 2000’s, - art & music have been my sanity, sanctuary and release.

For the last three years I’ve been working on four series. “Faces In My Life”, “People In The Act of Daily Living”, “Places I’m Connected To” and “The More Animals I Meet…” Thank you for taking the time to check out my perspective on the beauty and pain of life, people, places and living creatures. Recently I’ve been having a blast returning to my teen roots of Mandalas, Optical Art, Psychedelic art and abstracts.

I've recently started digitally playing with my original art work. I call some of them my "Cyber Sculpture". Or "Digital" sculpture. It's all done with optical illusions. They are some of my recent additions. I hope you enjoy.
