Paintings I Love

Native of Tennessee began painting at an early age. My mediums are oil, acrylic, pastel and watercolor. My subjects depict mostly local scenes and local flowers. I teach art classes, exhibit nationally and try to sell my art. Portraiture is my first love and the most challanging. By invitation, I belong to several well knowm art societies including the Degas Pastel Society. Among some of my prized awards are the Winsor & Newton and Jack Richeson.

Mostly I paint in the academic tradition branching into impressionism on occasion.
